Australian Bankers’ Association warns of survey scam

The Australian Bankers’ Association (ABA) has received reports of a survey scam catching some members of the public off guard.  

Criminals are calling consumers and claiming to be conducting a phone survey on customer satisfaction for the ABA.

They are asking questions such as:

  • Who do you bank with?
  • How long have you banked with them?
  • Are you satisfied with their service?  

They then request personal and banking details such as account numbers, PINs and internet banking passwords.  

As always, P&N Bank urges its members to be careful when speaking to unsolicited callers.
