AWAMO assists retired military working dogs with ongoing care in their ageing years, especially in the area of veterinary care, as part of their retired military working dog assistance program. Some dogs have undertaken multiple deployments, served in theatres of war and saved lives of our Defence Personnel. AMAWO recently retired seven RAAF Military Working dogs at RAAF Base Pearce, where they are assisting handlers in the ongoing costs of Australia's four legged diggers.
A P&N Bank Helping &nd would assist with the ongoing medical care of ageing military working dogs.
Buddy Up Australia provides connection and purpose through fitness activities and volunteering opportunities for serving and ex-serving personnel (Police, Fire Ambulance, Air Force, Navy, Army). Buddy Up Australia aim to keep ex-serving personnel in the well zone of mental and physical health, by providing purposeful volunteering, social and physical activities. Adjusting to life after leaving the service can be a challenge and Buddy Up Australia has been created to lend a hand. They exist to help individuals find connection and purpose while making a difference in local communities with like-minded people.
A P&N Helping &nd will go towards equipment for volunteering events - work gloves, shovels, and wheelbarrows.
Bunbury State Emergency Service is a volunteer run organisation, with responsibility to assist the community prepare for, prevent (wherever possible), respond to and recover from natural disasters. Last year the Bunbury Unit of the SES provided over 9,800 person/hours to operations, training, administration, and fundraising and maintenance activities. Bunbury SES are also prime responders to assist WA Police with land searches, cliff/cave rescues and assist other DFES agencies with fire and sea search operations, demonstrating a wide scope of activity and responsibility to the community, across WA.
A P&N Helping &nd will assist with upgrading Bunbury SES's GPS tracking software, aiding searches for missing people.
Darren’s Ride is a fundraising campaign commemorating the life of Darren Whitby. Darren served as a City of Busselton employee for over 15 years, and loved living in the beautiful south west. He loved to ride his bike, ride a wave, and loved his gorgeous dog Darcy. Darren lost his battle with Motor Neurone Disease (MND) three months from diagnosis, aged only 50. The Group celebrates and continues his ride through life, fundraising for local care and support to help West Australians and their families suffering with this disease, and national medical research to help find treatments and a cure.
A P&N Helping &nd will help continue the Darren’s Ride campaign, helping those impacted by MND to live the best life they can for as long as they can.
Friends of Warwick Bushland is a community run organisation of locals looking out for the biodiversity, and sustainability of the 60 hectares within the Warwick bushland. The ethos of the group is to value, respect, preserve and promote, which it's been doing since 1997. Working with the local high school, the team continues to work with planning, weeding, education, research, care and monitoring while encouraging a strong community involvement. Recently participating in Clean Up Australia with the Hamersley Scouts, the Group keeps the community updated with their quarterly e-newsletter.
A P&N Helping &nd would provide stainless steel numbers on the Warwick Bushland walk trails at each designated point of interest. The numbers relate to a website app on smartphones, which will inform and enhance the bushland experience. Further funding will allow for small stainless steel plaques at the nine trail entrances.
Gosnells Community Men's Shed provides an important meeting place for men. With 185 members the shed offers a wide range of activities members can become involved in, like building equipment in their workshop for local primary schools. Fostering a great sense of community, the Gosnells Men's Shed is making a difference to the quality of life of men and women in the Gosnells area.
A P&N Helping &nd would fund the raw materials needed to help the community, maintain the shed facilities and support greater community outreach.

The Lions Club of Eaton works hand in hand with the local community as a provider of support and philanthropy. The Club helped many events and initiative this year including Australia Day Breakfast, supporting the Camp Quality Sanctuary Golf Day, and the Eaton Foreshore Festival. The Club maintain a mobile self-contained kitchen trailer which is used to support emergency relief efforts. The Club used this kitchen during the Waroona and Yarloop fires to support the community.
A P&N Helping &nd would help the Club plan activities and initiatives by furnishing the Lions Club new meeting room, the 'Lion's Den'.
NSCLC Older Persons Rights Service advocates for older people's rights, positive ageing and the prevention of elder abuse. A small team of experienced volunteers work to provide positive ageing events, expos, creation of partnerships with likeminded organisations, and the design and distribution of positive ageing materials. The Group also has an ongoing craft project called the 'Purple Road' - a 19 metre-long mural which is made up of thousands of hand-made crocheted or knitted purple flowers. Every flower has been donated by members of the community and represents someone's story.
A P&N Bank Helping &nd would support an event on World Elder Abuse Awareness Day and help showcase the Purple Road exhibition.

The Rotary Club of Ballajura-Malaga is an organisation of people that share a passion and commitment to engage their local community and improve lives across the globe. Working in conjunction with community groups, the Club places a deep value on 'service above self' as it develops community spirit. Between offering their services with the Rotary Food Van and varied fundraisers, the profits the Club makes go towards the demonstrated partnership.
A P&N Helping &nd would enable the Rotary Club of Ballajura-Malaga to continue its grassroots community and non-for-profit collaboration and support.
Swan City Youth Service is a unique not for profit youth service in WA. Offering a unique combination of drop in facility where young people sleeping rough can come and have a shower and something to eat. The service also offers counselling support, recreational, educational, life skills and music / arts based programs for the young people. The Service assists over 900 young people each year, improving their physical, mental and emotional health and wellbeing.
A P&N Bank Helping &nd would help feed the many young people who attend the education, training, counselling and support programs.
