Trailer Insurance includes:

  • New replacement
CGU can replace your trailer with a new one if it's written off in its first 2 years in an incident CGU cover (your trailer must have been new or a demonstration model when you bought it).1
  • Fire and flood
You’re covered if your trailer is damaged by fire, storm, flood or tsunami.
  • Emergency repairs
CGU covers you for agreed emergency repairs you need to make after an incident it covers, so that your trailer’s safe to tow (up to $800).
  • Theft and damage
You’re covered if your trailer is vandalised, stolen or accidentally damaged.
  • Towing and storage
CGU pays for towing to a repairer or safe place if your trailer is damaged and can’t be used after an incident it covers. CGU also pays reasonable storage costs for your trailer until it’s repaired or CGU settles your claim (whichever comes first).
