All I want for Christmas

Christmas wishes from our community partners

This year P&N have asked our community partners what they were grateful for in 2018 and what's at the top of their Christmas and New Year wish list. We kick off with a wish from our CEO, Andrew Hadley.

P&N CEO, Andrew Hadley

"Well it goes without saying that I certainly wish for our members, staff, suppliers, community partners and recipients and their families to all have a safe and happy Christmas and a wonderful New Year.  In particular, I wish for those West Aussies who are doing it tough to find some respite and the support that they need."

Variety WA, CEO Tony Hume

"In 2018, Variety – the Children’s Charity is thankful for the endless heart and spirit of all our Variety kids and families, who remind us every day why our organisation exists.

Our wish in 2019 is for our volunteers, donors and sponsors to come together once more, and help raise enough funds to give a fair go to even more WA kids who are sick, disadvantaged or have special needs," Tony Hume, CEO Variety WA.

Lifeline WA, CEO Lorna MacGregor

"Lifeline WA is grateful that for the generosity of spirit in the community that sees every day Western Australians volunteer their time to listen to others who are lonely, distressed or having thoughts of suicide. Lifeline WA is also thankful for the continued support of the Western Australian public and corporate sector. Without the ongoing support, Lifeline would not be able to achieve their goal of ensuring no call for help goes unanswered.

Lifeline WA’s wish for 2019 is to see a significant decline in the suicide rate in this state. Suicide is preventable, and by connecting the vulnerable to crisis support we can keep people in crisis safe," Lorna MacGregor, CEO Lifeline WA.

The Fathering Project, Wayne Bradshaw

"With 2018 drawing to a close The Fathering Project Team are thankful for the generous support we have received throughout another year of supporting and inspiring Dads and Fathering figures to be the best they can be.

We are so appreciative to have donations of time, funding, enthusiasm and other resources from our Dads Groups, sponsors and volunteers. We wish the families of Australia a safe and happy festive season, with plenty of opportunity for our Dads and Father figures to spend quality time with the children in their lives. Looking ahead to another year of improving the present and future for kids, by helping Dads and Father figures to #PutFatheringFirst."

Crimestoppers WA, CEO Vince Hughes

"Community minded people in WA have been helping Crime Stoppers create safer communities for nearly 24 years. Our Christmas wish is that you stay safe and continue giving us the gift of valuable information throughout 2019.  Thank you to P&N members for your ongoing support and trust in us."
