As a member, you are part of something much bigger than just a bank. We believe in the power of the collective. Humans can't flourish alone.
That's why P&N Bank is different. As a member owned bank, P&N doesn't focus on maximising profits for shareholders. Instead P&N exists to enrich the lives of our members and their communities. This is what makes P&N unique.
One key way members contribute to the fabric of our community is through our Helping &nds program. Helping &nds support those in need. It empowers P&N members to nominate deserving WA individuals or families who are suffering hardship or grass roots not-for-profit groups to receive much needed financial or services support.
In a relatively short period of time, P&N Bank members have been able to help dozens of individuals and groups who have needed support.
In the past few months alone our members have been able to make a small but tangible difference in the lives of individuals or families who have been suffering hardship. We've been able to provide a gift voucher to help a man who had no money to afford Christmas lunch, and helped purchase a new fridge and washing machine for a woman on a disability support pension who only had an unreliable bar fridge and was having to do all her washing by hand.
One group P&N Bank members have recently nominated and assisted includes Homestead for Youth, an organisation which works with vulnerable teenagers and their families by proving safe refuge and restoration in a community that has experienced higher than average incidence of youth suicide. Other Groups supported have included volunteer bush fire brigades, animal rescue organisations, cancer support groups and environmental protection organisations.
This small snapshot shows P&N Bank members are part of a unique collective. Our members are provided the opportunity to support causes that are close to their hearts. This is the power of the collective.
