Originally created in the early 1970s, Bananacoast Community Credit Union (bcu) was formed by a small group of business owners — predominately banana farmers to provide a local, realistic banking alternative to the big banks.
bcu’s 21 branches stretch from Queensland’s Sunshine Coast, to Brisbane, Coﬀs Harbour and to Port Macquarie in northern NSW.

Further information about the Merger will be provided in the Member Information Document (MID) which will be posted or emailed to all P&N members in the coming months ahead of a Special General Meeting (SGM). You are encouraged to read the MID before making a decision as to how to vote. The Directors of P&N Bank unanimously recommend that you vote in favour of the Merger to approve the transfer of business from bcu to P&N Bank.
