When you’re buying or refinancing your home, there’s always a lot of paperwork. We’ve partnered with MSA National to make it easy for you to sign your home loan documents online and possibly settle your home loan faster.
Step 1: Log in
When your home loan documents are ready, you’ll receive a text message to your nominated mobile advising that your documents have been emailed. A login email will be sent from an MSA National Case Manager via an online system called Docusign™. An example email is below.

Before you can access your documents, you’ll need to click on the “send SMS” button to generate a security access code that will be sent to your mobile phone.
Step 2: Give your consent
After you enter the code, you’ll be logged in and prompted to give consent to receive and sign your documents digitally. Once you provide consent, you’ll get access to sign your documents.
Step 3: Review your home loan documents
Read over each document carefully. For legal advice, please contact your solicitor. For any other questions, you can get in touch with your lender or broker, or call MSA National on 1300 672 628 – they’re open weekdays from 8:30am to 5:00pm (AEST).
Step 4: Sign electronically
Simply follow the prompts to sign your documents and upload a copy of your building insurance and other documents.

Frequently asked questions
Docusign is a third-party service we use to allow customers to sign documents electronically. It’s used by over 200 million people all over the world and is the most widely used way of signing documents securely online.
Your documents are encrypted, so they can't be read by anyone except us. We keep a copy of everything so you don't need to worry about losing anything.
For extra peace of mind, we also use two-factor authentication (2FA) to ensure only you can access your documents – you'll need an email address or mobile phone to receive the authentication code.
You can access Docusign as soon as you receive the email with your documents. For the best experience, we recommend you use a tablet or computer – but you can also complete the process using your mobile phone.
You will receive an email from Docusign after your home loan is approved. Only one person can sign at a time, so if there’s more than one person on the application, you’ll receive an email when it’s your turn to sign. Make sure to check:
- Your email address is up to date
- Your junk or spam folders (if it’s a work address, it might be blocked)
- If you already have a Docusign account and opted out of notifications, check your settings in ‘My preferences’
It’s important to make sure you have provided an email address and mobile number for each applicant. If any of the details are incorrect, MSA National will get in touch with you or provide a paper application.
Get in touch with your Home Lending Specialist, Mobile Lending Manager, or Broker directly and they can update your details for you.
If you need to change your mobile number, you can call your MSA National Case Manager. You will find their details in your login email.
If you've applied with someone else, only one person can sign at a time. After the first person signs, the next person will receive an email, and so on until all applicants have signed the documents.
Don’t forget that if you’re the first person to sign, you’ll need to make sure to fill out the ‘Settlement Authority’ and ‘Loan Repayment’ forms.
If you don’t want to sign your loan documents digitally, select the ‘Decline to Sign’ option in the Docusign envelope and MSA National will then send paper documents to your Lender. If you would prefer to receive paper documents, include this detail in the ‘reason’ field.
Alternatively, you’ll need to call MSA National directly on 1300 672 628 – they’re open weekdays from 8:30am to 5:00pm (AEST).
Please get in touch with your Home Lending Specialist, Mobile Lending Manager, or Broker for help. They can organise this for you.
If you identify an error with your loan documents, select the ‘Decline to Sign’ option and add details of the error. MSA National will arrange for the error to be corrected, and new loan documents reissued.

No. You cannot print and sign the documents sent to you by Docusign. If you do not want to sign the documents digitally, you can “Decline to sign” with “prefer paper documents” as the reason, and MSA National will send your documents via mail.
If some documents in your pack require a pen signature, you will need to print them out, sign them, and return them to MSA National by post. Docusign will clearly state which documents will need to be printed and signed. The remaining documents can still be signed digitally and will be returned to MSA automatically.
Your session stays active for two (2) hours. After that, you’ll need to sign in again with a new SMS code.
Yes. An electronic signature is legally binding even if it doesn’t look like your pen signature. Alternatively, you have the option to draw a signature on screen, if you prefer.
Statutory Declarations cannot be signed electronically. But if you’ve signed all the documents online and found that one is needed before settlement, where possible, MSA National will send you a paper Statutory Declaration for signing.
