Bunbury Animal Rescue Rehome Care Inc. (BARRC) has received a Helping &nds grant from P&N Bank, which will cover essential worm and flea treatments for the dogs in their care. The group was established in 2019 when a small number of people recognised an urgent need for more animal welfare assistance in the south-west region.

Rachael Cronin from BARRC said the P&N Bank Helping &nds grant would assist them to care for more dogs, covering the cost for approximately 100 treatments.

“Each and every dog who comes into BARRC's care needs flea and worm treatment, which is a huge expense each year,” Rachael said.

“BARRC is self-funded and does not receive any ongoing funding and as such all donations mean the world to our little rescue organisation.

“Thank you P&N for supporting us - every piece of support means we can focus on the dogs and their care rather than raising funds.”

P&N Bank Bunbury Branch Manager Donna Gibbs said P&N Bank was pleased to be able to extend support to dedicated and passionate community organisations like BARRC.

“The Helping &nds program provides financial assistance where it is needed most in our community, and we believe BARRC is a worthy recipient for the important work they do to support animals in the Bunbury region,” Donna said.

“This is why P&N Bank exists - to enrich the lives of our customers and the local communities in which they live.”
