We update our app regularly to make it easier, safer and more convenient to use, and introduce new features all the time. Here are nine things you probably didn’t even know you could do on the app.

1. Get a consolidated interest summary

Want to see how much interest you’ve earned or paid for the current or previous year? You can view details individually for each account, or you can get an at-a-glance interest summary for all your accounts at once, including a total of your interest earned or paid.

Switch between Current Year and Previous Year, and Earned, Paid or Tax for your summary.

Here’s where to find it: Menu > Accounts > Interest

2. Detailed information on your credit card

Want to know how much your minimum payment or when your payment is due without downloading your statement? You can now get more detailed credit card information, including payment details, your interest rate and credit limit, or make a payment.

Here’s where to find it: Menu > Accounts > Select credit card > Select the “…” icon in the top right corner > Account information

3. Pair your Apple Watch

You can link your Apple Watch to view your balances on the go. Download the App for your Apple Watch, then register it through the app to connect your account.

Here’s where to find it: Menu > Settings > Apple Watch

4. Payment approvals

If you’ve got an account with multi-to-sign functionality (where more than one person needs to approve the transaction), you can complete the approval in the app to make the process even faster.

Here’s where to find it: Menu > Pay > Payment Approvals

5. Manage your card

This isn’t new functionality, but if you’ve misplaced your card, you can lock it at any time, and unlock it when you find it again. Or, if it’s permanently lost or has been stolen, you can also report it through the app and order a new card.

You can also manage which services you want to be able to use with your card. You can decide if you want to use Visa payWave/Tap and Go, in-store purchases, online transactions, international transactions, digital wallets and ATM withdrawals.

Here’s where to find it: Menu > Manage Cards > Select Card > Lock or Menu > Manage Cards > Select Card > Card Controls

6. Add Pay&Save to your account

Pay&Save has been around for a while too, but it rounds up your spend to the nearest dollar and deposits it into your nominated savings account – small contributions that help to reach your savings goal faster. For example, if your purchase comes to $80.47, $0.53 will be deposited to your savings account. You can easily set up Pay&Save yourself, by linking your preferred transaction account through the app.

Here’s where to find it: Menu > Accounts > Pay&Save

7. View your statements in the app

You can access your statements 24/7 through the app for all your accounts. If you haven’t registered for e-statements, help us save paper and get notified by email as soon as they’re available.

Here’s where to find it: Menu > Accounts > View eStatements or Menu > Accounts > Manage eStatements

8. Change your dashboard shortcuts

You know the four icons on your app home screen? You can customise these to suit the way you bank. For instance, you can add a direct link to BPAY or our branch locator, if you use these functions frequently.

Here’s where to find it: Menu > Settings > Dashboard Shortcuts

9. Nickname your accounts

If you've got a few different accounts, it can sometimes be confusing to know which one is used for a particular purpose. You can now rename your accounts with a friendly name to make it easier to identify which is which.

Here's where to find it: Menu > Accounts > Select Account > Select the "..." icon in the top right corner > Rename account

There’s plenty more features available in our app - take a look to find out more.
