P&N Bank has a long and proud history of supporting local charities and Western Australians in need. A key driver of this support is via our community grants program that assists people in need and also provides funding to local not-for-profit organisations.

We are thrilled to announce some exciting changes to our community support program, including the launch of P&N Bank Empowerment Grants (previously known as Helping &nds).

The P&N Bank Empowerment Grants program features two streams:

  • Empowering People – assisting and empowering Western Australians who are in financial crisis or have basic needs that are not being met.
  • Empowering Communities – assisting and empowering Western Australian not-for-profits striving for equity; and those working in disability and accessibility; mental health; poverty and homelessness; and domestic and family violence.

P&N Bank customers can nominate people in need, or eligible not-for-profit organisations to the P&N Bank Empowerment Grants program. Learn more about Empowerment Grants and how to make a nomination.

General Manager P&N Bank, Angela Newland said the organisation was committed to supporting its customers and making a positive impact in the diverse WA community.

“As P&N Bank evolves to cater to the changing needs of customers, it's critical we focus our support in the areas that align to our diverse Western Australian community. We will give a step-up and bigger voice to not-for-profits that are striving for equity and give Western Australians facing major social issues a helping hand.

“Our previous Helping &nds program assisted 225 unique community organisations and over 370 people in their time of need since 2016, with over $670,000 donated in that time. We look forward to building on these foundations with our new P&N Bank Empowerment Grants program and other community partnership initiatives.”
